UNIVERSAL ORLANDO® FOUNDATION
The Universal Orlando Foundation was established in 1998 to support organizations and projects that take a proactive approach to community needs and concerns in the areas of education, children and families.
Since its inception, the Foundation, along with matching grants, has awarded and pledged nearly $7 million to organizations throughout the community. The Universal Orlando Foundation is committed to improving the quality of life in Central Florida.

Dr. Phillips Orlando Performing Arts Center - $1,000,000 pledge – To support the Orlando Performing Arts Center's Capital Campaign.

Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Florida - $1,000,000 pledge – To support the Boys and Girls Clubs’ Capital Endowment Campaign. The Southwest branch is now known as the Universal Orlando Foundation Boys and Girls Club.

Rosen College of Hospitality Management - $1,000,000 pledge – With internationally-recognized faculty and state-of-the-art facilities, the Rosen College of Hospitality Management is setting new standards of excellence for the industry. The Universal Orlando Foundation Library serves the research needs and interests of the Rosen College's students, staff, and faculty, as well as the needs of the greater UCF community.

Children’s Advocacy Center - $250,000 grant - To fully fund the Children’s Advocacy Center, a collaborative effort of local government and community agencies dedicated to the investigation, treatment, and prosecution of child abuse.

Children’s Home Society - $197,000 in grants – To fund the Lilley House and Crisis Nursery, two facilities that provide emergency shelter for children removed from their homes due to neglect or abuse.

Eccleston Elementary School - $132,000+ in grants – To fund textbooks, computers, printers, globes, dictionaries, a new playground, the summer reading program, after school tutoring, and parent/teacher activities.

B.E.T.A. - $100,000 grant - To fund a parent/child lab where young un-wed mothers can finish their high school education and learn how to care for their babies.

A Gift for Teaching - $90,000 pledge – To fund the development of Pre-K education kits for underprivileged children in the Central Florida area.
|

Kids House - $50,000 grant – To fund a Child Advocate position for the organization.
|
|
| |
QuestKids - $50,000 grant – To fund a Therapist position to provide early intervention behavior therapy for children with autism.
|
 |
